What is a wiki?

A wiki is a set of linked pages that can be edited collaboratively.

This means that anyone and everyone with access can create new pages, edit existing pages, create new templates, tag pages, etc.

There is no possibility of 'messing up' someone else's page, everything that is created or edited here is stored and all edits can be 'reverted'. The system also records who made what edits. Everyone should fee free to edit as they see fit and correct any errors that any other contributors might have made or to expand on any of their entries or create links to new pages on topics that others have brought up.

What are templates?

Templates are basic, premade webpages that you can use. They are like 'form' pages, they have the basic format, but you need to replace the specifics with your own information.

How do you use a template? When you "create a new page", you give the page a name, and then you are given the option to select a template. The template will be pre-loaded, you can then edit it, filling in your information. If you click on the links below, you will see what some of the templates look like.

If you want to create a page using a template, make sure that you first click "create new page", and then choose a template from a list that will be shown to you.
